How Pitbull Boxer mix looks like?

Pitbull Boxer mix is usually possess glossy coating and smooth that does not need too much grooming. This mix requires physical exercise and interaction.

Do you know the Pitbull boxer mix would be loyal and protective, which could get in the way of socializing with the dog.

If you have both these breeds and try to breed them, you should aware that pups won't be accepted by other dog luvers. This mixer be stern, fair and consistent, but you will have a dangerous dog.

Pits and boxer mix will have very block heads and jaws. The jaws will definitely look more like a boxers and the head doesn't seem as big and blocky as a Pit either.

I've had a pit boxer mix for the past 5 years and she is by far the best trained, most obedient, and loyal dog I have ever owned. Obviously, any time you own a pit (mix) training is very important!

Dangerous is the last word I would use to describe my dog. Generalizations don't work for people and nor do they with dogs.

I agree, Dangerous is a rediculous word to use! I own a pit bull, and a pit bull boxer mix. Both are very obedient, friendly & loyal dogs.

I agree with the previous two comments. I have a boxer-pit mix (now 3.5 yrs old) and he is the best dog my husband and I have ever owned. He is the most gentle dog especially with children. Also, he took took our second dog immediately. The mix of these two breeds has a gorgeous outcome. People always comment on our dogs appearance in a positive manner. The mixing of these two breeds seems to bring out the best of both worlds. I would highly recommend this loyal, obedient mix.

i own a pit boxer mix as well and his name is honey because he is so sweet to everyone and everything, very intelligent, loyal, and lovable. He is with me 24/7 work play and the rest of the day. By far the best dog i have ever had.

Dangerous?! I have had my pit/boxer mix for a year now (a rescue)and she actually got attacked by a LAB the other day. She didn't fight back - she ran away. She would lick you to death if she could and has never snapped, bit, growled or snarled at anyone or any dog! She is smart and gorgeous and is THE PERFECT dog. LMFAO at the word Dangerous.

First off I'm SICK of people saying pits or pit mixs are dangerous!!! They are loving and loyal. Just because some IDIOTS use this type of breed to dog fight doesnt mean all of those dogs are mean. These are the types of people that put innocent dogs to sleep and are kept from good homes. I rescued a bit boxer from the pound and it has been the most loyal dog, and I have a one year old son at home which the dog loves... so for those people that want to talk crap about these dogs take it somewhere else!!!

Obviously the original poster has no idea what they are talking about. I acquired my boxer pit mix from my sister because of her fear of the pit part. Maggie has turned out to be the sweetest dog I have ever owned. She is a licker, very smart, sweet, etc. I am sick of people generalizing pits as all being dangerous. My step-son has a full blooded pit and he too is a licker, so much so that when his little sister, my daughter, stays with them, they have to kennel him because he won't stop licking her.

There are NO bad dogs, just BAD people. This person has no idea what he is talking about. Any dog can be dangerous. I am a retired dog trainer. (obedience and protection work) I had a mini schnauzer that was trained on a sleeve, who was dangerous when told to be. Pits, rotts, and dobes...all get a bad rap. It's the owner job to socialize their dog and train him the right way. Dogs only do what they are taught and allowed to do. DONT pointout certain breeds for being dangerous when it's the owners fault! dog lover

I need help...My pit boxer mix is teething...He just loves to nip at everyones feet..how do I stop Him

I've had my pit-boxer for nearly four years and he is the best dog I've ever owned. He is sweet, funny, patient, and very handsome. He's lived with several dogs and have never had a problem with him at all, and most of these dogs were strays that I rescued. My brother has a chihuahua that bosses my 90 lb puppy around.

to tammy i have a pitt n boxer mix puppy who is teething too what i did for him to stop nipping is i gave him alot of stuffed animals and chew toys to keep his mind busy and stimulated and when he does nip we tell him no if he continues we put him n his cage for 10 minutes

to kimmi i totally agree i am so sick and tired of every body saying how dangerouse pittbulls and boxers are because my puppy is great he is only 3-4 months old and he is great with kids and even my cat who beats him up on a daily bases i think that these animals should not be discriminated for their breed just because of the arrogance of people who use them for fighting

I've had my pitt boxer mix for a little over a year. Didn't know anything about her other than she had been beaten, neglected and left to die in a kennel. She's one of the smartst dog's I've ever spent time with, protective as hell, but hates men, all men. There have been a couple times I was afraid of what she might do had she been able to get ahold of them

I own a pit/boxer myself, & he's the biggest teddy bear ever... he's afraid of his own shadow! he's 11 months & rips everything apart so I have to give him tons of toys & bones. I train him very well, he's so physically fit & loves to play, he taunts me also the dogs just nuts! I love the guy I never leave his side.

I would just like to say to the people who posted a comments thank you for the positive things that you have said. As of two days ago I became a owner of the mied breed and I will say that she does seem very sweet. I also I have a one year old in the home and my dog is running from her. I do have one question, she cries alot at night for affection. How long will it last and what can I do about it

I have 3 dogs... a rottweiler (6 mths. old), a pitbull crossdoberman and a mutt (he makes sounds like all sirens..fire, the ambulance..even the sugar factory hourly whistle..once he hears them)..my dogs are all babies and quite adorable..and I get upset when i read negative comments ..about their breed..I am a first time owner of these breeds.

I dont think the writer meant dangerous as in a teribly mean dog, pitboxers are a deadly combination when used as a weapon. pitbulls used to take down bulls.. thats pretty dangerous if you ask me d: I myself have a 3 month old pitboxer named nesta, she is a sweetheart down to the last hair, but i know by watching her with toys that she could do serious damage when shes older. i love her to death and i think dog fighters give these breeds terible names, because no dog is just mean, they are obedient and do what their owners tell them.

My 5mo. old pit boxer mix is probably the best thing that has ever happened to me I would highly reccomend this breed to anyone. The only downfall is she stated losing hair about a month ago and I don't know why. Has anyone else had this problem? I give her vitamins and special food so I don't understand what's wrong. (The patches of missing hair unveiled dry skin but that's about it) help?!

The vet believes my pup is a pitboxer. We drove a few hours away to get this pup, and I was told he was all boxer. I couldn't tell exactly from a pic so we decided to go get him. Once we got there, I knew he wasn't all boxer. But he was sooo skinny that I wasn't leaving without him. We brought him home, he gained weight and now has all his shots. Vets guess and our guess is pit boxer. We also have a chihuahua mix who is one year old. He is def the dominant one and my new pup just lays on his back and rolls around. Not gonna lie, was a little scared because my ex's pit ended up being dog aggressive after about a year. We also have a cat that my new pup seems to be doing great with. Got to keep an eye on any types of animals when you're mixing them in a home. Got to watch for leaving toys and bones out when you're not around. Any type/breed/age/size of dog can get mad if something provokes them. =)
