Give a perfect groom for your pit bull before coming in on a light surface and look for ticks to fall.

Immediately fix an appointment with your vet, if your pit bull develops sudden loss of appetite, intermittent fever, limping and looking tired always. It is easy to defeat Lyme disease if it is diagnosed as early as possible. If it is not treated in right time, lyme disease will cause neurological issues and kidney damage.

Some vets are suggesting a product named "Canine Advantix", which will prevent ticks from biting your pitbulls. This will help your pitbull to escape from Lyme disease exposure.
